Behind the Glasses: Brandon Flanigin

Each month, we’ll be interviewing one of our fab employees here at Whereoware.  For December, we were thrilled to introduce Brandon Flanigin, one of our web marketing managers!

What’s your name? Brandon Flanigin.
Job title: Web marketing manager.

BACKGROUND:

Favorite food: Corn. Steak is a close second!
Hidden talents: I have a black belt in Hap Ki Do, a Korean martial art.

My earliest memory: My dad built a ‘circuit board’ for me and my brother to play with. It was literally a small 1×6 plank with small light sockets, a battery pack, a horn, and an array of switches, both momentary and latching. We had an array of wires with alligator clips, and we could play all day with running things in series, or in parallel, through one switch, then a light, then another switch to the horn. We had hours of fun out of such a simple “toy”.
Item you would bring with you to a desert island: Well, I can’t live without my tablet…but then I’d need headphones…and maybe a satellite internet connection. Okay. I would bring one box containing my tablet, headphones, satellite internet, and a fishing pole. That’s not cheating, is it? A man’s gotta eat!

What’s the best part about working at Whereoware?
I like that we embrace technology and the direction of current marketing trends. Whereoware has the tools and the flexibility to reach out and communicate with individuals based on behavior, not just to groups of people on lists. This allows customers to be better engaged and happier that they have open communication with their favorite brands. I’m happy that we can provide that.
