Each month, we’ll be interviewing one of our fab employees here at Whereoware. For October, we get to know Joe Harris, our Vice President and Partner, a little better.

Job title: Vice President and Partner

One item you would bring with you to a desert island and why: My cell phone, of course! Assuming I have service. If I don’t, than it would have to be Wilson.

What’s the best part about working at Whereoware? I am coming up on my 9-year anniversary of working at Whereoware. I’ve seen it grow from a 10-person team into a 40+ person environment; seen it change from an online marketplace to a digital agency; and experienced the ups of winning new customers and going live with large projects, and the downs of seeing close friends leave and having several customers’ businesses struggle to survive. Heck, I even moved from Maryland to Virginia in this time frame (something I swore I would never do)! What I like best is the change and dynamism of working here, plus the experience of working with very smart and talented co-workers. No two customers are the same; no two projects are the same; no two peers are the same; and usually no two days are the same. It keeps me passionate about my job and Whereoware.
