Uttermost launches new website designed by Whereoware

ROCKY MOUNT, VA — Uttermost, a manufacturer of home accessories and furniture based here, has launched its new website, located at www.uttermost.com. Whereoware designed and developed the new website.

“We wanted to showcase our products while providing a stress-free experience for visitors,” said Mac Cooper, president and CEO of Uttermost. “Our new site is intuitive and easy to use.”

Uttermost tasked Whereoware with developing a cutting-edge website that provides support for the manufacturer’s retailers, designers, sales representatives and consumers. “We fully understand the thought and attention that goes into creating all of Uttermost’s products,” said Joe Harris, vice president of Whereoware. “We wanted that quality reflected in the website. The website addresses each group’s needs, while remaining fun to use.”

The new website’s clean navigation system allows users to easily browse products on the website or in the online catalog gallery. Also, an advanced search option allows users to quickly sort by a variety of parameters.

Whereoware developed separate portals for retailers, consumers and designers. The retailer portal makes it easy for approved retailers to reorder, and view order history and status. It also personalizes the customer’s experience by providing an image of the Uttermost staff who services each retailer as well as contact information. Consumers can browse products, create, save and print a wish list as well as use the dealer locator. Designers have access to tear sheets they can print directly from the website.

Woodstock Chimes Ring Alive Online

Whereoware redesigned and enhanced www.chimes.com

Woodstock Percussion, Inc., makers of the world-famous Woodstock Chimes® and the award-winning Woodstock Music Collection®, partnered with Whereoware to re-design and enhance its website, www.chimes.com. The re-designed Website brings the unique sounds of Woodstock to life online. Focusing on Woodstock’s customers, the site features easy ways to browse and interact with products, a state of the art shopping experience and loads of multimedia features.

“Consumers cherish the quality of our products, their fine tuning and superior sound quality. We wanted our website to immerse them in the sounds of Woodstock,” said, Woodstock Percussion’s Founder / Owner Garry Kvistad. “Incorporating the sounds of each instrument, plus inserting video directly into the shopping experience, lets our customers have that experience.”

Woodstock’s diverse products presented the challenge of providing customers with multiple ways to shop. Rather than force all customers to shop one way, Whereoware worked with Woodstock to structure the product content and shopping experience from multiple perspectives. The result is a dynamic user-orientated Website that is still easy to understand and navigate. Customers can shop by product type, sound or gift idea. Plus, the multimedia pieces are worked directly into the product information. Anytime a customer finds a product they can easily hear and view the instrument in action without having to search any further.
